PURPOSE: A vehicle gateway, an apparatus for a vehicle network interface, and a method thereof are provided to perform extraction and acquisition of reliable vehicle information from a vehicle network in order to be used for various services such as emergency rescue, traffic control, traffic safety, and insurance handling. CONSTITUTION: A first interface(220) is connected to each unit in a vehicle network(100). A second interface(240) is connected to at least one access device(300). At least one access device obtains vehicle information from the vehicle network. A packet processor(230) connects the first interface and the second interface. The packet processor determines the communications method, communication path, and processing order of a vehicle information acquisition.
