The gearbox has a planetary gear mechanism formed in a frame or housing that is connected with a bicycle frame (1) at a bottom bracket shell. An element of the mechanism is connected with another element, the housing or a bottom bracket shaft by shifting clutches or shifting free-wheels, with respect to gear ratios. A planet gear is connected with a working stroke of a clutch body via a clutch. The clutch body is in permanent connection with another element of the mechanism. The planet gear is supported by a planetary rod.
