PURPOSE: A vehicle seat belt control device using a fob and a method thereof are provided to improve convenience of use as a driver avoids readjusting the length of a safety belt every time the driver is changed. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle seat belt control device using a fob comprises a fob(100), an information transfer part(300), a sensor(400), and a controller(200). The fob transmits data signal including driver's identity information. The information transfer part transmits the driver's identity information included in the data signals. The sensor senses that safety belt(800) is released. The safety belt controller automatically controls the length of the safety belt. The safety belt controller receives the signals which sense that the safety belt is released.
