CONVERGING FIBER, PHOTODETECTION SYSTEM, OPTICAL COUPLING STRUCTURE, AND RADIATION DETECTION UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of introducing light into an optical fiber.

SOLUTION: A converging fiber 10 comprises a plurality of optical waveguide parts 1 and lighting parts 2 inserted between two adjacent optical waveguide parts 1. Each optical waveguide part 1 includes a core 11 and a clad 12 surrounding the core to constitute the optical fiber. Each lighting part 2 is formed so as to protrude in the radial direction from the optical waveguide part and is configured so as to introduce external light to the optical waveguide 1.
