PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte for a battery capable of giving high charge and discharge efficiency and high safety to the battery. SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte for a battery includes a ring phosphazen compound expressed by formula (I) of (NPR12)n, a nonaqueous solvent, an aniline dielectric expressed by formula (II), and supporting salt.
