PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jackpot pocket opening/closing device that prevents player's excitement and enjoyment from decreasing by opening/closing a jackpot pocket at a high speed. SOLUTION: An opening/closing device 90 opens/closes a jackpot pocket which is opened by sliding a slide opening/closing member 91 with respect to a jackpot pocket opening 94b opened in a case 94, wherein the slide opening/closing member 91 has a slide plate 91a extending along the jackpot pocket opening 94b, and a shelf plate 91b overhung from its lower part to the rear side, and includes: a shaft 98a of a solenoid, adapted to move in one side position for changing the direction of the reciprocation to move the slide plate 91a to an open position where the jackpot pocket is opened, when opening the jackpot pocket; and a projecting object 94a adapted to come into contact with the shelf plate 91b to regulate the closing operation of the slide plate 91a, when the slide plate 91a is moved to a small opening closing position Ps where an opening section 94c opened between the slide plate 91a and a game board 101 is opened to such a dimension that no game ball can enter, by the movement of the shaft 98a to the other side, when closing the jackpot pocket.
