A device for reliably preventing a fueling error by accurately preventing insertion of a small-diameter nozzle and not obstructing insertion of a large-diameter nozzle which is permitted to enter. Even if the tip of a nozzle is strongly pressed to left and right shutter members (22), the shutter members (22) do not pivot and move in the opening direction thereof unless the shutter members (22) slide outward radially.  Thus, the structure prevent the shutter members (22) from erroneously moving to a position in which the nozzle is permitted to enter.
