The vehicle (1) has an electrical window lifter (3) and a front seat passenger airbag (2) attached to a common seat. The electrical window lifter attached to the seat is deactivatable by a central controller (4) during deactivation of the airbag. An additional child safety-mode is executable, and additional window lifters are controllable in a front passenger seat. The electrical window lifter is activatable by a driver over an operating element, and the deactivation of the window lifter is suppressable, where the deactivation is optical and/or acoustically displayable.
