PURPOSE: A panoramic dental radiology apparatus and an associated method of use are provided to allow a user to accurately program the displacement by switching between a panorama operation mode and a first operation mode. CONSTITUTION: A dental radiology apparatus(10) comprises an X-radiation generator(18) and a sensor(20). The sensor receives light from the X-radiation generator. The dental radiology apparatus generates a panorama image of an object through the displacement of an assembly. The X-radiation generator comprises one or more collimation slits(18e,18f). The X-radiation generator generates the X-ray beam in a first operation mode. The sensor comprises a pixel array. |
