Method of automatically managing user notifications of heterogeneous formats in a mobile terminal (10) able to receive or generate, and display these notifications, the method comprising the following steps: - translating each notification received or generated by said mobile terminal into the form of an item of metadata in a unique format, - recording said translation in a database (2), - valuing the priority of said notification as a function of a combination of the priority criteria predefined by the user, - reorganizing the database (2) containing said notification, as a function of the priority of the latter with respect to the other notifications translated and already stored, - displaying on the terminal (10) the notification as a function of its priority.
