A syringe which prevents a medication liquid filled into the syringe from forming strands from the tip nozzle when removing the cap, even in cases when the medication liquid is highly viscous. A tip opening (211) is closed by causing the inner peripheral surface (631) of the seal cap (63) of a cap (6) to be in close contact with the outer peripheral surface (214) of the tip portion of the tip nozzle (21) of a barrel (2). At the same time, the outer periphery of a Luer lock section (22) is covered with the outer tube cover (62) of the cap. A swollen section (213) is provided to the front end portion of the inner hole (212) in the tip nozzle to reduce the diameter (d) of the tip opening. The length (s) of the seal formed by the seal cap (63) is set to a predetermined level which is relatively short. The diameter of the medication liquid placed in the syringe and sucked until the liquid is destroyed by a vacuum when the cap is removed is set to a very fine diameter and is adapted so as to be quickly destroyed by a vacuum. Thus, even if the medication liquid filled into the syringe is highly viscous, the medication liquid does not form strings.
