<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic cap which effectively prevents the breakage of a score in the axial direction during capping with no problem such as the coming off of a cap body. <P>SOLUTION: The plastic cap has a top panel and a skirt hanging down from the top panel. The outside face of the top panel is formed with a part to be opened for discharging a content and the inside face of the top panel is formed with the inner ring. The inside face of the skirt is formed with an engaging protrusion for engaging with the opening of a container and a circumferential weak line is formed near the boundary with the skirt on the peripheral edge of the top panel. A score in the axial direction is formed on the skirt extending from its bottom end to the starting point of the weak line. An auxiliary weakened part starting from the bottom end of the skirt and extending at least beyond the top end of the engaging protrusion is formed near both sides of the score. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
