PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information retrieval device that enables information retrieval reflecting a user's intention.

SOLUTION: The information retrieval device includes: a preference evaluation part 31 for calculating a preference evaluation score for each piece of information to be retrieved; a topicality evaluation part 32 for calculating a topicality evaluation score; a novelty evaluation part 33 for calculating a novelty evaluation score; a recommendability calculation part 34 for calculating recommendability of information by the formula of preference evaluation score×priority α+topicality evaluation score×priority β+novelty evaluation score×priority γ; a recommendation result display part 17 for displaying a recommendation result on a screen; an attention evaluation detection part 19 that when a user operation for the information of the recommendation result is detected, extracts each evaluation score related to the information, detects an attention evaluation item to which a user's attention is paid based on the result of the comparison of the extracted evaluation scores, and counts the number of times of attention evaluations and the accumulated number of times of operations; and a priority setting part 23 for calculating a priority for each evaluation item based on the number of times of attention evaluations and the accumulated number of times of operations, and updating the priorities in a priority control table 15 with the calculated priorities.
