<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering an alcohol by using biomass having a high energy utilization efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The fermentation system using biomass includes a solid culture tank 10 for digesting and fermenting a biomass such as cellulose, by cellulase and yeast to form ethanol, a membrane separation tank 20 for separating ethanol as a gas from a liquid obtained by condensing an ethanol-containing water vapor formed by the solid culture tank 10 by using an ethanol separation membrane 21, and a heat pump 30 for condensing the ethanol-containing water vapor formed by the solid culture tank 10 and heating remaining water obtained by collecting ethanol from the membrane separation tank 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
