PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gap winding motor for positioning a stator coil without using a jig, and facilitating connecting work. SOLUTION: The gap winding motor has a stator in which a plurality of air-core stator coils for forming a rotary magnetic field are mounted on the inner peripheral surface of a hollow stator core, and a rotor in which a plurality of permanent magnets are attached on the outer peripheral surface, and arranged opposite to the stator coil via an air gap. The stator coil is arranged on a flexible circuit board having a connection pattern and adhesive layers on both surfaces. The flexible circuit board is arranged on the inner peripheral surface of the stator core with the stator coil. The flexible circuit board and the stator coil are molded with resin.
