<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize the frame rate of moving images corresponding to the movement of an object. <P>SOLUTION: When photographing the moving image, a digital camera detects the movement of the object (step S110) and sets the frame rate on the basis of the detected movement of the object (step S120).
