<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device having a package structure improving luminous efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: A light-emitting device 2 includes an upper portion sealing resin 12 and a lower portion sealing resin 14 which respectively seal an upper portion and a lower portion of a light-emitting element 10 mounted on a substrate 4. A first phosphor 18 and a second phosphor 20 are respectively contained in the upper portion sealing resin 12 and the lower portion sealing resin 14. The first phosphor 18 emits a light having a wavelength longer than that of a light emitted from the light-emitting element 10, and the second phosphor 20 emits a light having a wavelength longer than that of the first phosphor 18. Since both the upper portion sealing resin 12 and the lower portion sealing resin 14 are disposed in contact with the light-emitting element, the first and second phosphors 18 and 20 respectively receive the light emitted from the light-emitting element 10 directly and emit lights. Therefore, respective phosphors, without being interfered by other phosphor, directly receive the light to be excited, to improve luminous efficiency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
