<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems with a conventional hip roof structure wherein though hip flat tiles sequentially roofed up inside hip flat triangular tiles C are cut one by one by a cutter at a construction site, it takes much labor, dust pollution occurs, and the treatment of waste materials is difficult, by improving the structure and responding to the request of zero-emission from the view points of the effective use of resources, simplification of construction, and the protection of global environment. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The hip roof structure uses 40 sheets of flat tiles having an effective width dimension and an effective leg dimension matching 4-4, 5-5 gradients which are predetermined in JIS. The hip flat tiles roofed up sequentially inside the hip flat triangular tiles C comprise hip flat tiles A of 306 mm in effective width dimension and hip flat tiles B of 204 mm in effective width dimension. The effective leg dimensions of these tiles are adjusted to 275 mm or the like to match each gradient before roofing up. The hip flat tiles A and the hip flat tiles B are adjusted to match each stage of a roof in the ridge direction before roofing up. Ž<P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT Ž
