PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trouble determining system for oil pump mechanism capable of easily and surely determining troubles of an oil pump mechanism based on basic parameters such as engine speed. SOLUTION: After control condition of an oil pump mechanism is switched from a High-side control condition to a Low-side control condition (S12), in the case wherein a determination that the engine speed Ne is remarkably lower than the idle engine speed Nei is done (S13), a determination that the control condition of the oil pump mechanism is fixed to the High-side control condition is done (S14), and in the case wherein the temperature of cooling water for cooling the engine is lower than a preset temperature (S17), the control condition of the oil pump mechanism is switched from the Low-side control condition to the High-side control condition (S18), and thereafter, in the case wherein the engine speed Ne is nearly constant before and after switching the control condition of the oil pump mechanism (S19), a determination that the control condition of the oil pump mechanism is fixed to the Low-side control condition is done (S20).
