PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a freely detachable suspending member for commodities wherein even if a hook is not removed when not being used, the commodity suspending member (column) is not kept projected, and even when a commodity is removed, the removal and the attachment can easily be performed. SOLUTION: This freely detachable suspending member for commodity consists of a hook member and a hook attaching pasteboard. In this case, the hook member consists of a commodity suspending section on which the commodity is suspended, a fixing section which fixes the commodity suspending section under a standing state, and a fastening section having an extended section which is extended from one end of the fixing section while having a cross section of an upside-down U shape, and tilts in a direction going away from the fixing section from the end section on the opposite side end section from the one end of the fixing section.
