摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the height of a space in a ceiling by means of H-shaped steel in a proper cross-sectional shape while satisfying fire-resistive performance. SOLUTION: This composite beam 10 has the H-shaped steel 12 joined to a stud 24. The H-shaped steel 12 has an H shape, and laid between columns not shown in Fig. Web concrete 22 is placed with a width of a downside flange 16 between a top surface of the downside flange 16 and an under surface of a concrete slab 20 on both the sides of a web 18. The web concrete 22 is placed together with the concrete slab 20, and supports the concrete slab 20. The fall of the web concrete 22 is prevented with the stud 24 and a reinforcing bar 26 attached to the stud 24. The concrete slab 20 has a thickness (h); the top surface of the concrete slab 20 is set as high as that of an upside flange 14 of the H-shaped steel 12; and the upside flange 14 of the H-shaped steel 12 and an upper portion of the web 18 are embedded in the concrete slab 20.
