<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide furniture pieces which can be stacked on top of each other for storage in a height-limited space to achieve improved stacking efficiency. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A piece of this furniture includes legs 2, a body supported by the legs 2, a tablet top 31, and a writing table 3 which holds the tablet top 31 either in a horizontal position for use or in a vertical position for storage. Pieces of such furniture can be vertically stacked on top of each other with their writing tables 3 holding their table tops 31 in the storage position, each table top 31 of the writing tables 3 hanging down on the outside of its legs 2.
