PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily set the circuit parameter of a distortion suppression circuit so as to normally function, without being affected by variation in a communication system, in the communication system, wherein a plurality of communication nodes are connected to the same point of a main transmission line and the distortion suppression circuit is provided in the connected part. SOLUTION: In a communication system, wherein a plurality of communication nodes 10 are connected to a main transmission line 2 via a hub 4, in order to prevent a communication signal from being distorted due to the mismatching of the impedance inside the hub 4, a distortion suppression circuit 8 constituted of a coil, or the like, is provided on the main transmission line 2 (or between communication lines constituting the main transmission line 2) inside the hub 4. For the circuit parameter of the distortion suppression circuit 8, for the worst wiring in the worst communication state is calculated within the wiring restriction of the communication system, and the circuit parameter is set through arithmetic processing due to a computer so that, under the worst wiring calculated, predetermined matching conditions (e.g., reflection coefficient being 0.33 or less and VSWR being≤2.0) are satisfied.
