<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of an umbrella such that in case of a strong wind accompanied with rain, the conventional umbrella becomes inside out, breaks, or causes a person to be pulled by the umbrella, fallen down and injured, and the umbrella is not properly put up, and when the number of ribs is increased to reinforce the umbrella, the umbrella is hardly turned inside out but an umbrella user is pulled more frequently, which brings about an aspect which is not good from the view point of human safety, instead. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A window 2 is provided in the center of an umbrella body 1, and in-coming wind is released without resisting it. This window 2 is provided with a cover 3 which prevents rain water from coming in and designed to be freely raised with wind, and scattering of the window cover is prevented with a cap 4 having a flange 5.
