PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a method capable of measuring the distribution of the grain size of a subclass of a small particle LDL within a range of measurement precision of the distribution of the grain size by conventional dynamic light scattering methods. SOLUTION: The measurement method of a lipoprotein subclass includes a step for separating a fraction, including the small particle LDL from a sample to be inspected including lipoprotein; and a step for analyzing the distribution of the grain size of a fraction, including the small particle LDL obtained by the separation by dynamic light scattering method.
