<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for detecting a light signal position which detects a signal lead position by calculating wavelength dispersion by obtaining a peak position of a correlation value and the spread of a distribution of the correlation value even in communication via a transmission path where a wavelength dispersion effect exists. <P>SOLUTION: A photoelectric conversion part 101 converts a light signal of a reception signal to an electric signal; a correlation value calculation part 104 calculates a correlation value between a previously-stored known signal and the reception signal; a correlation position detection part 105 outputs information of a peak position where the correlation value calculated by the correlation value calculation part is maximized, and the distribution of the correlation value ρ; a signal position determination part 106 can detect the signal position of the reception signal based on the information of the correlation value output from the correlation position detection part 105. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
