<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that the consistency of printing history data cannot be achieved if blended data referred to in the printing history is deleted for rewriting, in a printer which can reprint an image once printed based on the printing history data and records identification information for specifying image data and the blended data to be blended with the image data as the printing history data. <P>SOLUTION: Before rewriting, the blended data referred to from the printing history data is moved to a save area. The identification information ID data for specifying the blended data which the printing history data refers to is changed into a stamp ID of the save area.
