<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake caliper capable of suppressing clonk noise. <P>SOLUTION: The brake caliper includes: a first pad disposed in a position facing a one disk face of a disk rotor; a second pad disposed in a position facing another disk face of the disk rotor so as to hold the disk rotor in between with the first pad; a piston moving the first pad in a direction in parallel with a rotary shaft of the disk rotor; a cylinder supporting the piston and the second pad; and a mount fixed to a body of a vehicle and supporting the cylinder movably in a direction orthogonal to the disk face of the disk rotor. In the second pad, one part of an upstream side end face and one part of a downstream side end face in a rotating direction of the disk rotor during advance of the vehicle face to cylinder, and a first elastic member is disposed in each portion of the second pad facing the cylinder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
