<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content protection technique for achieving control of a browsing part and an edition part in accordance with the role of a user of a digital content. <P>SOLUTION: A content is divided into a plurality of partial contents. The partial contents are encrypted using a browsing-controlling secret key for each partial content. Edition-controlling secret information and a partial-content validation key are generated, then generating a feature value for each partial content. Key-encrypted data are generated by subjecting the browsing-controlling secret key and the edition-controlling secret key corresponding to each of the browsable and editable partial contents to an encryption process, using the public key of a user, and an encrypted content is generated from the key-encrypted data, encrypted partial data, and the partial-content validation key. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
