CORROSION-PROOF COATING COMPOSITION AND CORROSION-PROOF COATING FILM STRUCTURE USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical corrosion-proof coating composition having alcohol resistance equivalent to or higher than that of a conventional glass flake-containing vinyl ester resin.

SOLUTION: The corrosion-proof coating composition comprises (A) an unsaturated polyester resin composition containing (i) an unsaturated polyester obtained from a dibasic acid component and a polyhydric alcohol component and (ii) a polymerizable unsaturated monomer, and (B) flaky glass. The dibasic acid component comprises 70-100 mol% of an unsaturated dibasic acid and 0-30 mol% of a saturated dibasic acid. The polyhydric alcohol component contains 50-100 mol% of glycol having a 1-3C main chain and one or no side chain.
