<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminance distribution uniforming sheet and a backlight unit, capable of preventing occurrence of streaky luminance unevenness. <P>SOLUTION: The luminance distribution uniforming sheet 10 includes square dot- or triangular dot-like halftone dots 12 printed on a translucent substrate 11 in a pattern of AM screening with an area ratio of 45% or less or with an area ratio of 55% or more. Otherwise, the luminance distribution uniforming sheet 10 includes round dot-like halftone dots 12 printed on a translucent substrate 11 in a pattern of AM screening with an area ratio of 74% or less or with an area ratio of 82% or more. In the backlight unit 1, the halftone dots 12 of the luminance distribution uniforming sheet 10 are printed in a print pattern such that the halftone dot area ratio increases as the luminous quantity reaching from a light source 20 increases. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
