摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem on inefficiency in an air conditioning device that hot/cold air is directly distributed to the unnecessary direction and articles such as furniture, as a condition of an air conditioning area is not known. <P>SOLUTION: An ultrasonic sensor is loaded on this air conditioning device, an ultrasonic signal according to an input pulse burst electric signal is oscillated from the ultrasonic sensor by inputting the pulse burst electric signal to the ultrasonic sensor, the oscillated ultrasonic signal is reflected by an obstacle after arriving at the obstacle, and a part of the ultrasonic signal is returned to the same ultrasonic sensor. The ultrasonic sensor detects a distance to the obstacle on the basis of a reciprocation time by receiving a reflection signal. By using this principle, the condition of the air conditioning area such as a distance from the air conditioning device to a wall of the air conditioning area and the layout of the articles can be obtained, thus the air conditioning of high efficiency can be performed by properly controlling the wind direction and output. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p>
