PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vasodilation response image display apparatus permitting recognition of the process of the vasodilation response in an image. SOLUTION: In the vasodilation response image display apparatus 22, when a plurality of small-area images s<SB>n</SB>, part of a plurality of cross-sectional images P<SB>n</SB>repeatedly generated in the elapse of time and having axial center dimensions x in a prescribed length in the direction of the axial center C of a blood vessel 20 and dimensions y in the axial direction including at least a pair of vascular walls of the blood vessel 20 orthogonally crossing the direction of the axial center of the blood vessel, are extracted from the plurality of vascular cross-sectional images P<SB>n</SB>and stored, the plurality of stored small-area images P<SB>n</SB>are connected in the time series in the longitudinal direction of the blood vessel 20 to compose a time-axis image E expressing the connected small-area images as one blood vessel, and the time-axis image E is displayed in an image display device 30.
