INSULATED WIRE AND WIRING HARNESS

Disclosed is an insulated wire having satisfactory heat resistance life, which has more excellent insertability than conventional insulated wires. Also disclosed is a wiring harness. The insulated wire has a conductor and an insulating material covering the outer circumferential surface of the conductor. The insulating material is composed of a resin composition containing 30-35 parts by mass of a trimellitic acid plasticizer per 100 parts by mass of a vinyl chloride resin. The insulating material covers the conductor with an adhesive force of not less than 10 N. The conductor preferably has a cross sectional area of not more than 0.22 mm2. The wiring harness comprises this insulated wire.
