METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING WEB SERVICE IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION UNIT

PURPOSE: A web service providing method of a mobile communication terminal and a system thereof are provided to display a corresponding web page using an extension of an image through interlacing and progressive rendering methods, thereby reducing the transmission of an image. CONSTITUTION: A mobile communication terminal(10) requests a desired web page in a browser server(50). The mobile communication terminal performs reception, extension, and display of a compressed image to realize interlacing and progressive rendering. The browser server accesses web pages of corresponding web servers(60_1~60_n) through web browsers. After rendering a web page screen, the browser server compresses their result image. The browser server transmits the compressed image to the mobile communication terminal.
