<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display capable of enhancing display quality and improving a production yield as well. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The device is provided with an array substrate 100 having a protective film 400 formed by an inorganic material so arranged to cover a display element 40 of a self-light-emitting property on a wiring substrate 120, a sealing substrate 200 so arranged to face the face where the display element of the array substrate is arranged, a resin layer 500 filled between the array substrate and the sealing substrate, and a liquid repellant film 600 arranged between the protective film and the resin layer and having stronger adhesive force with the protective film than that with the resin layer.
