PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic sensor case capable of improving sensing characteristics of an ultrasonic sensor, and the ultrasonic sensor employing such a case. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic sensor case 1, which utilizes a piezoelectric element 13, includes: a plate-like vibrating part 3 where the piezoelectric element 13 is provided; and a sidewall part 5 provided so as to surround an area 3a, where the piezoelectric element 13 of the vibrating part 3 is provided, and having an opening 5a at a position facing the vibrating part 3. The vibrating part 3 is composed of a thermoplastic resin containing fiber-like fillers and the thermoplastic resin is a polyphenylene-sulfide resin, polyether-ether-ketone resin, polyethersulfone resin, polybutylene terephthalate resin, or resin obtained by blending two or more of them.
