PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apartment house capable of utilizing its site effectively, facilitating its control on the whole while keeping residents' privacy, and enlarging and remodeling the house freely without affecting the adjacent house adversely. SOLUTION: The apartment house composed of a plurality of houses 1 and passages 2 branched from a corridor for common use connecting the houses 1 mutually is constructed within one site. An expansion joint or the like can be used in a connection part connecting each house 1 with the passage 2. An entrance 3 exclusively for vehicle from a public road 10 is provided as an entrance for a primary security zone on the whole site to allow the vehicle permitted to enter in the entrance 3 part to enter the site. Entrances 4, 5 exclusively for person are provided as an entrance permitting each person to enter and go toward an entrance of each house 1 through the passage 2 used as the corridor for common use.
