Provided is a communication device which can smoothly perform communication by the television-phone function by suppressing the television-phone function depending on whether the television-phone function is in an effective condition. When an arrival using the television-phone function has occurred or when performing a transmission using the television-phone, a control unit (10) checks whether the television-phone function is in the effective condition. If yes, the control unit (10) executes control to start a communication by the television-phone function. If no, the control unit (10) executes control to perform no communication using the television-phone function and perform only an audio communication. |
