The invention relates to military armored high mobility tracked vehicles. A 100-mm bored tank gun, a 7.62-mm machine gun coaxial with the gun, an automatic fire control system which is integrated with sophisticated guided weaponry, four containers with guided missiles, 12.7-mm anti-aircraft machine gun and an automatic 30-mm grenade launcher are accommodated in the rotating turret of the tank fighting cab. A defense system comprises the reinforced armor packages of the body and the turret, a built-in reactive armor, side anti-HEAT screens, a smoke grenade launching system, rapid fire-fighting equipment and a camouflage painting. The engine and transmission compartment comprises a power plant which is based on a V-type high-speed diesel engine having a capacity of 690 ph and on supporting systems thereof, a fan-type cooling system, an improved air cleaner and a highly reliable mechanical transmission. The track wheels are mounted with the aid of improved torsion suspensions with improved wheel beams. The beam of the first and the last wheels are connected to the vehicle body by means of hydraulic high-capacity shock absorbers, the bearing units of the wheels being reinforced. The command controllability is provided by a sophisticated radio station and an interphone system. The tank is equipped with floating means making it possible to provide the tank with amphibiousness (nautical qualities).
