Disclosed is a method of recommending broadcast content, comprising: creating a user list consisting of at least one second user related to a first user; displaying the created user list on the screen of a media content displayer; selecting at least one third user out of the second users shown on the user list; transmitting, to the selected third user, a message for recommending a first broadcast content currently being watched by the first user, or a second broadcast content chosen from an electronic program guide (EPG).
