FILTER FOR REMOVING A WHITE CORPUSCLE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A leukocyte removing filter including a nanofiber web and a blood transfusion unit including thereof are provided to improve a removal of leukocytes without an adhesion of thrombocytes, and to simplify the preparing process by deleting a surface hydrophilic process of a filter residue. CONSTITUTION: A leukocyte removing filter has an average diameter of 100~2,000 nanometers, and is formed with chitoic acid-poly composite nanofibers incapable of melting into water at a room temperature. The leukocyte removing filter comprises pores with an average diameter of 0.5~3 micrometers in between the chitoic acid-poly composite nanofibers, and a chitoic acid-poly composite nanofiber web layer(A) with an average thickness of 0.5~50 micrometers. The chitoic acid-poly composite nanofibers are composed with 20~80wt% of chitoic acid and 80~20wt% of poly vinyl alcohol resin. The chitoic acid-poly composite nanofiber web layer is laminated on a synthetic non-woven fabric material(B) or in between the synthetic non-woven fabric material.
