PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle motion control device, and a vehicle motion control method capable of supporting the rapid elimination of an under-steer state when a vehicle makes a turn without allowing a driver to have a sense of incongruity when the vehicle makes a turn. SOLUTION: If a vehicle is in an under-steer state when the vehicle makes a turn, the grip force recovery control is executed at the time when a driver performs the accelerating operation so as to adjust the front wheel speed VWF. In other words, the front wheel as a turning wheel is adjusted so that the absolute value of its turning angleσis temporarily reduced while the wheel speed VWF is adjusted by the driver (the third timing t3). Thereafter, the turning angleσof the front wheel is adjusted again in the direction from the minimum turning angleσmin to the original angle (the fourth timing t4). COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
