PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle motion control device, and a vehicle motion control method capable of supporting the rapid elimination of an under-steer state when a vehicle makes a turn without allowing a driver to have a sense of incongruity when the vehicle makes a turn. SOLUTION: If a vehicle is in an under-steer state when the vehicle makes a turn, the grip force recovery control is executed at the time when a driver performs the accelerating operation so as to adjust the front wheel speed VWF. In other words, the front wheel as a turning wheel is adjusted so that the absolute value of its turning angleσis temporarily reduced while the wheel speed VWF is adjusted by the driver (the third timing t3).
