PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solidifying material for enhancing hot strength for ore powder, which ensures the cold strength of a pellet which is equal to or higher than that obtained by the conventional solidifying material, and is also excellent in development of the hot strength of the pellet and reduction in viscosity of slag, to provide a pellet using the same, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: Disclosed are: the solidifying material for enhancing hot strength for ore powder, which is obtained by blending portland cement of 30 to 78 pts.mass and calcium aluminate of 22 to 70 pts.mass, and, has chemical composition, wherein based on the total of CaO, Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>and SiO<SB>2</SB>, the CaO content is 49 to 65 mass%, the Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>content is 17 to 41 mass% and the SiO<SB>2</SB>content is 10 to 18 mass%; the solidifying material for enhancing hot strength for ore powder, wherein the calcium aluminate contains a crystalline compound; and the solidifying material for enhancing hot strength for ore powder, wherein the content of the crystalline compound in the calcium aluminate is≥70 mass%.
