PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation fan using a sirocco fan in which dusts attached on each blade of the sirocco fan can be easily removed. SOLUTION: The ventilation fan includes: a drive section 5 which can switch the rotating direction into either the positive direction or the negative direction; the sirocco fan 7 which is connected to the drive section 5 and is rotary driven; and a switching section 10 which can switch the rotating direction of the drive section 5 into either the positive rotating direction or the negative rotating direction.
