PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user-friendly booklet stacker and an image forming system. SOLUTION: The booklet stacker (a booklet stacking part 31 and a case working machine control part 35) has a storage part 331 for stacking booklets bound by a bookbinding device (a bookbinding part 31 and a case working machine control part 35), and the image forming system 1000 is equipped therewith. The booklet stacker comprises a moving carriage 336 detachable from a body 33a of the booklet stacker, and a transfer part 332 for transferring the booklets stacked in the storage part 331 to the moving carriage 336. When predetermined transferring conditions out of a plurality of transferring conditions are satisfied, the transfer part 332 is controlled to transfer the booklets stacked in the storage part 331 to the moving carriage 336.
