PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slim-shaped steam discharging unit configured to obtain the flexibility in the design, to silence noises and to prevent scattering of droplets. SOLUTION: The steam discharging unit is incorporated in a storage cabinet in which an electric appliance is housed. The steam discharging unit includes a ventilation path including a fan casing of a blower disposed between a steam inlet on the bottom of a unit body and a steam outlet on the front surface of the unit body. One end of the bottom of the fan casing is continued to the bottom of a fan housing part for housing a centrifugal fan of the blower, and a curved, gently sloping inclined part which is inclined downward to the front, is disposed on a part of the bottom. The fan casing communicates with the steam outlet at the other end of the bottom. The steam outlet is formed higher than the height of the fan housing part. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
