<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooker capable of avoiding a failure due to a temperature rise in an operation section and a display section by suppressing the temperature rise of the operation section and the display section due to a temperature rise in a steam duct. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A rice cooker 100 includes: an inner pot 21; a lower casing 11 for storing the inner pot 21; an upper lid 12 openably covering the upper face of the lower casing 11; an inner lid 13 provided in the upper lid 12 and openably covering the upper opening section of the inner pot 21; a steam exhaust hole 15 exhausting steam generated from objects to be heated from the interior of the inner pot 21; a steam duct 30 guiding the steam to be exhausted from the steam exhaust hole 15; a water tank 20 detachably mounted to the lower casing 11 and recovering, condensing and storing the steam guided by the steam duct 30; an operation section 17 provided on the top face of the upper lid 12; and a display section 16 provided on the top face of the upper lid 12. The steam duct 30 is installed at a position preventing the overlapping with the operation section 17 and the display section 16 viewed from the top face side of the upper lid 12.
