<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an enteric soft capsule enabling application of a rotary die method of forming capsules having various shapes and sizes and giving capsules having excellent enteric property and beautiful appearance by a simple process. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the enteric soft capsule comprises a preparation step to prepare a capsule shell liquid containing gelatin, water, a plasticizer and 10-30 pts.wt. of a low-methoxy pectin having an esterification degree of 20-40% based on 100 pts.wt. of the gelatin, and a forming step to form the soft capsule containing a content filled in the capsule shell formed from the capsule shell liquid by a rotary die forming apparatus. A salt containing a polyvalent metal ion to gelatinize the low-methoxy pectin is not added to the capsule shell liquid in the production method, and the method is free from a step to immerse the formed soft capsule in a gelatinization liquid containing the polyvalent metal ion.
