摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain desired damping force while achieving miniaturization of a viscous coupling by enhancing shear force generating in a plate and by enhancing the damping force even when relative rotation speed between a case body and a shaft is low. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A suspension device is equipped with a viscous coupling 10a at a joint part of a link mechanism. The viscous coupling 10a includes first/second transmission members relatively rotatably arranged, an operation room 16 for housing magnetic fluid, a plurality of first plates engaged with the first transmission member, a plurality of second plates engaged with the second transmission member and arranged alternately with the first plates in the operation room, and a magnetic field forming means 26 supplied with current for forming a magnetic field in the operation room 16.
